So much for a slow summer — the social circuit’s been anything but ever since it was kicked off by The Nantucket Wine Festival. Seemingly half of Boston (and a solid slice of New York) piled onto the island for it and blew through a sunny weekend of tastings, galas, seminars, and dinners cooked by marquee chefs. Weeks later, many of those same guests filled the floor at the Louis Boston party and toasted the retailer’s snazzy, ultramodern new waterfront digs. Not to be outdone on the festivities front, The Liberty followed suit by throwing down with Fashion Forward — a night of celebrity modeling to benefit Room to Grow, a Boston organization that helps babies born into poverty. Catwalkers included Boston luminaries from restaurateur Christopher Myers and blogger Christine Koh to event maestro AJ Williams.
